Pasta Chips

Pasta Chips

I totally love making pasta chips! They’re such an awesome snack, and it’s always a blast to see friends try them for the first time. I found this recipe a few years ago in a Food Network magazine just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. They’re super easy to whip up and way better than regular potato chips. You can spice them up or keep them chili; I went for spicy with some chili powder, but honestly, you can use whatever seasoning you dig. I seriously think they beat potato chips any day and are perfect for parties or hangouts!

Here is what you will need:

  • a package of bow tie pasta
  • chili powder
  • salt

How to make the pasta chips:

  • Cook 1 cup of bow tie pasta in boiling water for half the cooking time listed on the package; drain and then pan fry the pasta in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over media high heat, turning until golden brown and crisp. Drain on a paper towels. Sprinkle with salt, chili powder and serve.

I hope this has inspired you to be creative in your kitchen – enjoy!
